Andre Faiva | Director
Andre started his career with AHFA New Zealand Master and former NZ Hairdresser Of The Year, Mike Hamel, and worked with industry greats, Nick Irwin, Clive Alright, Richard Mannah and Dennis Langford.
After almost 14 years at Toni & Guy, progressing from stylist to salon owner and national education director, Andre’s highlights included becoming the leading educator and platform artist in Australia, Asia and London for Toni & Guy, L’Oreal, Wella, Label M, TIGI, GHD and KMS. Particularly, presenting at Toni & Guy’s 40th year anniversary show with his hairdressing idols Anthony Mascolo, Toni Mascolo, Gary France and working alongside Trevor Sorbie at the 2005 AHFA Awards were key moments.Andre is responsible for educating the next generation of hairdressers, and has been involved in the National Ignite the Passion Tour for TAFE hairdressing courses and private hairdressing colleges.
Andre has worked with Australia’s leading photographers to build a fantastic photographic portfolio of work, which has resulted in a number of industry awards. In addition, Andre has been awarded 2014 Queensland Hairdresser of the Year in the Australian Hair Fashion Awards, and was a finalist in both the QLD Hairdresser of the Year category and Australian Creative Colourist category. He has also won the Queensland State Wella Trend vision for the placed 2nd and 3rd at the Nationals. His photographic work has been published in Australian Harpers Bazaar, Vogue, Highlights Magazine, Noise, Culture, Australian Hairdressers Journal, International Hairdressers Journal, UK Hair Flair, New Zealand Images Magazine, Headway and the Annual Toni & Guy Collection books.
Sandra’s career in hairdressing has lead her from Stefan’s in suburban Brisbane to Vidal Sassoon in London, to salon owner and Educator for Queensland’s Toni & Guy Flagship Salon & Academy, and finally to Director and Owner of Revolution Hairdressing. She is a leading Educator for international brand, Kevin Murphy, and has worked the runways of Fashion Weeks around Australia by Kevin’s side.
This position allows Sandra to be at the point of creation for shoots, back stage at fashion events and continually exposed to the leading hairdressing identities from around the world. Such insight enables Revolution to offer the latest hair trends from an informed perspective.

Sandra has previously worked as a senior member of the Session team within Kevin Murphy and Toni & Guy, working backstage at Sydney and Melbourne fashion weeks for over 10 years, and was invited to work along Grant Norton for TIGI at the 2010 New Zealand Spring/Summer Fashion week for Zambesi.
She has also worked as an educator and regular platform artist for Toni & Guy Australia, TIGI Label M, Wella and L’Oreal for over 10 years. Sandra has being a finalist for the Australian Hair Fashion Awards, Trendvision and a State Winner in the L’Oreal Colour Trophy.
